Responsible for overall direction, strategic planning, assessment and coordination of auxiliary enterprises and campus services in areas of contracted bookstore (current Barnes and Noble), contracted foodservices (current Aladdin, prior Aramark-Higher Ed.), vending, campus copy fleet, campus print and mail, housing, laundry, campus licensing, campus car, campus transaction system, and billboard. Assume additional contract management oversight in the areas of beverage, campus stationary, college business relations, and housing.

Responsible for $1.1 million annual operation budget including one million endowment fund ensuring financial and programmatic stability. Using CAS Standards for Student Unions, managed and developed 132,000 square feet of on-campus space funded by E&G, Auxiliary and Student Fee. Supervisor of facility maintenance, space, vending, inventory control, scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, security, and human resource management, while setting strategic priorities and direction. Oversight of $60,000 + Campus Life contracts, management of lease operations and tenant services. Supervise, train and evaluate 17 direct reports, and 40 student staff.

In the office of Student Activities, responsible for 135,000 yearly budget including 30 student assistants, and 2 graduate assistants while overseeing and directing operations for a Fitness Center, Game Room, Information Desk, Marketing and Reservations in the Jaguar Student Activities Center providing services to 6,000 + students. Provided planning and guidance for Student Activities leadership and student programming events. Supervised facility maintenance, space assignment, inventory control, scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, security, and human resource management.

Addressing academic advising needs of Online Education students and coordinate activities that directly affect retention and student success. Served as admissions returning student upper level recruiter and advisor; meeting and exceeding goals 20%. Transition Team Chair, improved retention of potential graduate’s by 5% through upper level advisement. Career Services Coordinator, established and maintained national, regional, and local partnerships with business, industry, and government leaders to enhance job placement and internship (Co-op) opportunities for current students and alumni.

Serve as a resource for the college community through a 157,020 square feet Student Union and Organization Annex in a four-year, urban campus with over 10,000 students in the office of Student Affairs. Supervised evening and weekend operations, enforcing policies and procedures. Hired, trained, supervised and evaluated staff of 8 managers and assisted with 4 custodial personnel. Counseled and mentored students using student development theory. Assist with developing and planning campus leadership programs; including first year mentorship and workshop programs. Created marketing and promotion pieces for Student Life events. Assisted in acquiring 250,000 for renovation project. Served in various committee member and volunteer roles.
