AI is an extension of us, not a replacement ...
AI is powerful, but it isn’t a replacement for real engineering. I think a lot of founders are getting overwhelmed by the hype right now — especially the idea that a custom SaaS can appear in minutes with a no-code tool and some AI prompts. It can look impressive at first, but once real users show up, the limitations become obvious.
I’ve seen projects get stuck because the base wasn’t built for scale or long-term growth. It’s a tough situation for teams who thought they were getting a full product but ended up with something closer to a prototype. AI is amazing for brainstorming, prototyping, and moving early ideas forward, but the core architecture still has to be designed with intention.
Fast is great — as long as it’s stable. That balance matters.
