What is a "hive?"
First of all, welcome to Hivemindd.
I'm Adam, the creative lead for the platform. I wanted to share a few notes about how Hivemindd works (today, and in the near future), so you can use it more effectively.
The community portion of Hivemindd, which is what you see all around you here, is what we built first. It's a series of forums, we call them "hives." We have hives for a lot of the top-line topics you might find yourself involved with as an IT consultant, like cyber security, or cloud migrations, or AI and agents.
Every hive is a forum dedicated to a specific subject. Joining a hive puts it's contents in your feed. Have something you want to share about AI? Join the AI and Agents hive, and post your thoughts there.
Don't see the hive that fits your need? Create it! Hivemindd is built to live and breathe, and expand to meet our users needs. It will grow and scale as users join, and as subject matter evolves.
Like a specific users thoughts? Follow them! Their posts (no matter the hive) will appear in your feed too. Soon, you'll have curated the exact kind of Hivemindd that fits your vibe.
We hope Hivemindd is more than a job matching company (those jobs, incidentally, are coming soon too). Rather, we hope it's your home base to navigate the world of fractional work; a true community of experts. Stick with us, we've got a ton of exciting features planned ahead and lots of growth in the pipeline.
In the meantime, join hives, create hives, share posts, smash like, comment away, polish up your profile and be sure you come back as we continue to deploy more and more community features throughout 2025!
